Save Seaburn

Does it have to commercial? Apartments would be OK.
My initial thoughts were that it would perhaps be turned into flats similar to those that already exist just over the road.
OK mate. I've made contact via other means. Am sure if you're minded we can conclude the conversation another day.

The thread has gone weird. Apologies everyone.
I think you just need to regain a little perspective.

So what have the council added, you could walk down the beach a thousand years ago.

Well there probably wouldn't have been any pubs. If you knew development and planning laws you would know the council can't really add anything. I flagged this up on the Keel Square thread and you didn't respond to that post.

Avoiding the questions like a wannabe councillor
Working abroad I seldom have the chance to dip into these forums. Someone alerted me to this thread. And as for your particular grievances I don't live in the Seaburn area so I'm not qualified to really comment. Having said that though I've had previous "discussions" with this Boris Bear individual. Very little enquiry was all that was needed to reveal that they are a fully authenticated card- carrying complotter of the "city" council. I'm afraid that regardless of the rights or wrongs of your stance this Bear character is the type that would defend a Council plan to install a Chernobyl- donated nuclear waste paddling pool at Seaburn. He also has his wingmen here who are always ready at hand to denigrate anyone who rubs against the council sophistry.

Just when it seemed the thread couldn't take any more bizarre twists........

Laughable really. Nonentity NIMBY's trying to pretend they're not.
Ah, we've never previously "intermet" I don't think so cheers for confirming one of my points! Nonentity? Yep, I certainly am! At least in terms of forum postings. Maybe one day I'll achieve the high literary posting status of someone like you. NIMBY? 'Fraid not. If you'd read my post I did actually say that I don't live in Seaburn. In fact I don't live anywhere near.
Still, on a dismal TV nght it's fun to drop something into a thread to arouse the pro-council cohorts!

Ignore them mate. There's two or three on here embarrassing the whole city of Sunderland.

It'll be sorted this week. Am told someone close to the top is absolutely furious at the PR cock up which is unfolding.
