They looked more burgundy or magenta to me but my eyes aren't what they were.

If Jesus & his disciples formed a consortium to take over our club & turned watta intivino some of us would complain that they preferred white if it was red, red if it was white, while others wouldn't be happy unless it was striped (broad stripes, of course!).
