Sorry if posted twice...

He’s a good operator on the whole. A slight enigma, being a red trouser wearing, old Etonian but football and sport crazy. I know him as I was up at Oxford Uni at the same time as him and we both used to drink at Vincents Club on Fridays. He was a golf Blue. Mad keen Oxford United fan even back the. (1998). Was good to chat football with him amongst all the rugby boys. He is prob worth £3-4m himself but has a great network. The only fly in the ointment is that he raised £10m to launch his newspaper called The Sportsman which went bust in 2006. Definitely an improvement on what we’ve got.

PS roll on the West Country away games, FTM.
Thanks for posting that

His Dad sounds like some bloke as well.

Colin Methven is a former director of insurance broking giant Willis Faber and Dumas (now known as Willis), where he ran the firm’s operations in Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and Australasia for many years.

After retiring from Willis following a thirty year career, he was subsequently appointed President of the London Insurance Institute, executive chairman of the Cavalry and Guards Club (which he ran for four years) and was elected a district councillor in his native region, the Cotswolds.

A former officer in the Royal Inniskilling Dragoon Guards, Colin brings to Dragon his huge experience of emerging markets, as well as of a complete understanding of the running of agency businesses.
That's as maybe, but could he win the darts & doms in Shotton Comrades?
