CC :: Durham v Leicestershire

Every wicket either bowled or LBW interestingly enough.

Five bowled - which is definitely a dismissal of the underprepared.

Sure their commentator just said they haven't won a Championship game in 17 attempts. Emphatic win for them here.

On the batting, our batsmen, like England's simply haven't got the application or the concentration to give themselves a real chance. Four ducks and a few flashy innings' tells you that - the players can complain about the poor preparation all they want but the only way to get into form is to spend time in the middle and the annoying thing for us supporters is that these batsmen just don't seem like they want to hang around and put the graft in. Some of them atleast.

Changes have to be made for next week, Poynter for me can go, I don't think he'll ever be a decent County Cricketer. Give Richardson (or even Davies) the gloves and stick a proper batsman at 6.

Well batted Graham Clark, 135 balls, amazing what you can achieve when you show a bit of application and are willing to spend time in the middle......
4 of the top 5 have gifted them the game. Always got to build an innings regardless of opposition. What do we need to avoid the follow on? 270?

Once again the bowlers (and Clark) show our so called batsmen what a bit application can do.
I'm sorry to say that it looks like Colly's wonderful career is drawing to an end.The old gadgee in front of me said ,'Well at least Colly isnt going to be clean bowled cos hes going to be out lbw shuffling across his crease'....and lo and behold.
The decision to put Leics in sent out a stark message to our opponents that we havent got the confidence or the nous to get our heads đown and graft.
And as for the Saffer...more wkts than runs...the batting equivalent of Shaun Tait's memorable contribution.

On the plus side I did get a nice tan.

I didn’t in a hundred years think that the cricket would be on an equally worse scale than the football but it has and the main batsman have shown as much technical ability and application as Billy Jones
