You can guarantee that if we'd played the under-23s and got hammered, Colin Wanker would be on the phone to the EFL about 10 seconds after the final whistle.
 
Haven't read the full thread but will the club not just say that the loanees have to play because league rules say we have to field 'strongest possible team'?

As ridiculous as that sounds, considering we are bottom of the league and don't have a strong team regardless of who is selected

So is playing the other players, not that is means anything at this point. Give the youth players a chance, you never know one of them might surprise us, whereas we know we’ll only get the same disinterested shite from the loan players.

There is absolutely zero point in playing loan players, none at all. Same goes for Wilson and Jones. The u23s should be playing. And before you say they're no good, the first team are class aren't they. :rolleyes:
