this. i've done it a number of times. it's really not that hard to get tickets if you have the contacts and the money.

if this was the other way round, and we had won the league and were away on the last game of the season to, say sheff wedensday who had already been relegated, the demand for tickets in sunderland would be huge. if we only got 3000 then it would be very difficult for sunderland fans to get tickets, meaning many people would be disappointed. if 20 or 30 sheff utd fans (who were in the premier league at that time) turned up in the sunderland end i think it wouldn't end well for everyone involved. i'd be amazed if they could get tickets

I took a West Ham, Spurs, Man U and Arsenal fan in the away end at Arsenal. No bother - we were all f***ing paggered

It's not difficult at all to get tickets for Sunderland away games. We've only sold out 4 of them all season.
