Nightmare Pet SOS

Seems like it needs reassurance and more mental stimulation. TBF, the same is also true of @stephen cartwright.
Do you think so? At times I worry @stephen cartwright has far too much mental stimulation. Do parrots get needy? I didn't realise that? Or maybe the parrot is mimicking its owner and its the owner that needy and the parrot is just pissed off and beats its owner up in a 'man the fuck up' type way? I'm not very good with parrot psychology.

Build trust, provide a stimulating environment and handle the bird safely seems to be the message. With those three things, he'll take a biscuit from your hand...

You got that from today’s Dear Deirdre didn’t you?

I'm no parrot expert but it might be fearful of the person it's attacking. Generally when you get these pet SOS/pet from hell scenarios it's usually something the owner is doing or not doing.

Having said that my 10 month old cat is tearing up my settee. I'm obviously not practising what I'm preaching.

That seemed to be the case. Partly the broken leg and one of his owners treating him and partly down to using oven gloves to handle him, or something.

All three pets tonight were much improved. I wish they'd throw a failure in sometimes on these shows.

A failure would mean an unhappy animal - or possibly rehomed. You cruel man! Mind I think I'd bite if someone approached me wearing oven gloves.

True. I hadn't really thought that through.

I've come down stairs occasionally to find that I've left my oven gloves out and the cat's asleep on them so not sure it's the gloves themselves that are the issue.

Brilliant.
My cat is obsessed with washing up sponges, I'm always waking up to one on the bed.

Can the owner not just get a cat or at the very least going and swapping it for @stephen cartwright budgie or whatever it is that he is grooming out the back of his?
parakeet.
