That little, you're straight on here after your game?

they win another game and think" I wonder what the mackems are saying" and come on here. Can you imagine winning 4 in a row in the premier - then thinking "I wonder what the mags are thinking, I will go on their forum to watch and gloat" That's the difference - down to deep rooted inferiority complex - never got over the battle of bolden hill - right I better log off im getting drawn in to mag bashing too much.

Thats very true in what you just said, a generation wull be turned away currently. So maybe dropping to a level where you can compete befoee rising again, but it's a massive risk, Short just had to invest a little, which pisses me off, my mates a f***ing depressed as hell, so I dont talk football with them now. My enthusiasm for my team just looks like I am rubbing it in, but I genuanly feel for you lot, well I feel for my mates and vast majority of Sunderland fans. Some of you I am glad this is happening, as I dont like sone of you.

But my point was history is good and you have amunition in last to win a trophy, 9-1, 6 in a row etc but surely you would swap places? I know I would, had roles been reversed.
I would be depressed as fuck to be honest.

I stopped going earlier this season because it actually upset me looking at what the club had become. I found it very hard to be around the place.

I’ve started going again however, and will get my ST back next year because the club needs all the support it can get, even if I despise Short and his henchman Bain. It still upsets me tbh, but at its lowest ebb I feel the need to be there outweighs my personal sadness.

As has been said before outside the top 6 football is a merry go round. it's depressing as fuck at the minute but i wouldn't swap the memories of 6 in a row or the hurt of suffering them defeats before the chances are we'll be back one day (hopefully sooner rather than later) and it could potentially only take one unlucky season for you to start another downward spiral.

No reason to lie mate! Took the family to Barnes Park earlier then went in the Rosedene on the way back for dinner. Roast was nice incidentally.

no stopped going there a while back - food used to be terrible - but for sunday dinner nowt beats the new herrington stables - beef of the gods.

Imagine Rafa gets a decent transfer budget in the summer, we’ll probably win the league next season.

A massive risk - you say that like we have a choice. We have had no choice but to loan crap players as we have been given 1.5 million to spend over 2 windows. We need to start winning again wherever that may be.

Thats all very true too, 9-1 means nothing to me but them six defeats did hurt and I would like to have happy memories thats for sure lol

While I can understand you all loving the 6 in a row thing, I think you’re getting carried away. Did we not win 5 in a row not that long ago? I can’t remember “5 in a row” being a phrase. And why do you think we could never do that? Is it just because we’re not going to play you very often? I totally understand you going on about 6 in a row though. I 100% would in the same position.

6 in a row

I would never ever swap places with NUFC and the recent record. When you are a club that wins nowt then all you have is the local leveller - and we have dominated that.

I know we’re shite and have 2 relegations off the bounce, but I still take great pride knowing we beat our biggest/local rivals 6 times in a row. Would I prefer that to have been 3 wins each and still be in the premier league, would I fuck. We’ll get back into top flight football again at some point to win fuck all again and make up the numbers, but will we see another 6 straight wins in the derby games, nah.

Not sure that’s all we have mate. I’ve seen my club play multiple times in Europe, been challenging for the title, been top 4 for a few years. Wouldn’t swap that for a better recent derby record. I grew up rarely seeing us lose to Sunderland so although this recent run is bad, it’s swings and roundabouts. I was 28 before I saw us lose away at Sunderland!

I stopped going as I couldn't take Grayson, looking out of his depth spluttering his interviews - Coleman is a class act and not out his depth - whether he can get us some pride back next year or not - I am ready for next season and Accrington Stanley - even fancy a new polo shirt from the club shop for 50 quid - the bastards.

Really?? That is very odd. I’d rather we lost 6 in a row and have our current league placings by a country mile.
