What so that the eu can deliberately give us a shit deal? We weren’t all born yesterday man.
Have a little read earlier in the thread marra, I was not suggesting we come out and announce that as the plan now, of course it would blow our position. What I am asking here is whether you as an individual would support a vote that is based on the final deal, I already know that your answer is no, what I'm hoping for is that you have the ability to articulate why that would be such an outrageous and dangerous proposition. (I'm not expecting that your answer drives the government policy at the next round of negotiations just for clarity)
We’ve had the vote man. Why should we have another one?

And what happens when leave wins that vote? We have another one after that?

Round and round in circles we go.

We have voted and we are out and it’s now time for the eu and the U.K. to come up with how we disengage.

Freedom of movement ends and the eu piss taking ends. They can have their criminals back

I cannot bide the eu and cannot bide the state it has left this country in. Imagine having to pay child benefits to kids who live in Poland. Absolutely ludicrous.

Imagine paying £350m per week so that they can build bridges and roads in Bulgaria whilst ours crumble

Imagine 500m people having the ability to up sticks and decant to the U.K. and we have to pay for them all?

Absolutely f***ing ludicrous. The eu has taken the piss out of us for years. Thank god it’s over
Well at least I don't feel too bad about my thinly veiled xenophobic comment from earlier, just regretting that I went for thinly veiled now :lol::lol::lol: f***ing hell

Because Brexit supporters have no response, it was all bullshit.

Everything is already under the control of Westminster - THEY are the one that choose to fuck things up. Nothing from the EU can get passed if the UK government says no. Nothing. So what are you taking back control of?

What Brexit has clearly shown is a complete ignorance of how the EU works, whose fault that is, well thats a debate all of its own. Is the EU perfect? Far from it - I have long been a supporter of "Stay, but with reform", but again I have seen zero legitimate reasons to leave the EU from anyone.

Why do the remainers still harbour the delusion that by staying in the EU they can ‘reform’ it? Surely all evidence to date shows that the EI is going the way that a handful of countries, notably Germany, want it to go and they don’t give a shit that the other countries don’t want to go that way.

Brilliant, so you'd basically jump the wall into the potential shit even if someone could inform you of the consequences. Genius. God bless you marra, you are comedy gold

Of course it does. The whole raison d'etre of the Nissan site in the UK is to have easy access into the single market. We leave the EU by the way the government are planning the customs union and single market too that affects not just Nissan but every company that imports/exports anything from Britain. Leaving the single market and customs union would mean trading on WTO rules and losing that easy access and common regulatory system. It is going to cost businesses a fortune in time money because every lorry and vehicle would need to be stopped to check whether tarriffs and duties need to be paid. Nissan and their suppliers bring in parts from all over Europe-how are they supposed to reliably run the logistics of just-in-time processes when Border Force and HMRC dont have the capacity to handle this change be it in staff, IT or physical infrastructure? The necessary checks will cause tailbacks miles long at ports like Calais and Dover; companies wont put up with that kind of disruption and more red tape for long.

What if the ‘checks’ were done on site as the lorries are packed? There is nothing that says where the lorry needs to be checked. It could just as easily be done within the factory and then sealed until it reaches its destination. Using technology to confirm the seal hasn’t been tampered with en route should be sufficient evidence for anyone of origin and content. It would be possible to track loads using GPS if required.

I see the usual suspects are treating the referendum as a football match. Surely we can agree whomever voted remain or leave, we will all lose or win depending on which side turns out to be right. If brexit turns out to be a failure we'll all lose and likewise if it's a success it won't be just the leavers who'll win.

What’s xenophobic about not wanting your country over run with every Tom dick and Harry just because they fancy it and some supranational body tells you you have to have them and f***ing well pay for them

Frankly I couldn’t give a shite what you call it. Call it xenophobia or call it taking the piss because it’s all the same to me.

Absolutely ridiculous that 4m people have been able to swan into London etc From all the arse end countries of the eu and do what they want and expect us to pay for them

Which dimwit came up with that idea?

Then when they commit crimes we can’t send them back because our jails are a cushy number compared to theirs? Lol.

4000 eu criminals locked up in our jails that we are paying for and can’t aend back!

Absolutely pathetic.

I've got no problem with an immigration discussion, the fact is there are too many people on the Brexit side for whom the immigration discussion revolves around shouting 'send em back to where they came from' or 'bloody Muslims' until the veins in their necks are close to popping. I welcome your different point of view, I'm just disappointed it along with many others is based on lies, propaganda of the rich and a seemingly deep rooted misunderstanding of the issues, crack on though mate, I'm sure the final deal those delightful Tories strike up will benefit us all in the long run, we are the mighty Great Britain after all, we won a war you know.
Don’t know about benefitting all, but it certainly won’t be as world ending as everyone made out.
Be better for the world imho - hopefully Britain won’t have the disgusting trade tariffs against third world African nations like the eu did and do.

I think this country would be better off if we just sent you to some far flung corner of Europe to be fair chief, you need to get out in the world more

Not a sound basis on which to base policy making. The Tories cant even agree on what they want never mind get a 'good deal'.

What if the ‘checks’ were done on site as the lorries are packed? There is nothing that says where the lorry needs to be checked. Volumes of cross border traffic would make that difficult and as the European Commission are taking enforcement action against the UK about the lack of prevention of smuggling across the NI/ROI border i suspect that would be a difficult one to get the EU to agree to. You would also be relying on government IT systems and time after time Civil Service IT procurement has been hopeless and takes years to implement. This system needs to be ready to go in 11 months- Time is against Britain on this perhaps if the government had triggered Article 50 later progress would have been smoother and more options available?
It still doesnt solve the problem of tarriffs, duties and duplicate bureacracy either.

Why the fuck can’t you quote posts properly?

Is leaving the EU about ‘being better off’ or about not wanting to be part of the organisation? I voted out without any consideration of whether or not the haves would be ‘better off’ or not. It was a simple choice - remain, and the certainty that this country and all others in the EU would cease to exist as autonomous organisations, or out, and maintain at least a semblance of independent control of the country.
Anyone who says it is not about being better off, is 1. Expecting to mske plenty of money out of it for themselves.
2. Is telling lies.
3. We, us ordinary people do not have control, in or out of any organisation, another leave lie.
No one voted to be worse off.

Unfortunately for you the majority don’t think like you and you lost because you couldn’t come up with any credible reasons to stay.

You had a chance to make your case and you blew it.
Give me your reasons why the country will be better off out. How will that be, how certain are you?
