American sport films

Not a film but a good documentary on Netflix called Last Chance U. Problem kids from big college football programmes are taken in by a lower level college in Mississippi for a final chance at making it.

A few NFL players have come through there.
I started watching it but the kids got on my nerves. Lazy bastards that didn't want to do the work needed to graduate.

Any Given Sunday is probably close to how the NFL was behind the scenes when it was released.

Friday Night Lights - the series is class from start to finish and includes some absolutely stunning lasses (Minka Kelly in particular).

As mentioned, Youngblood and Slap Shot are class, Goon well worth a watch.

Not a movie, but The last Gladiators on Netflix about 80s hockey enforcers in the NHL is amazing, and a newer one called Ice Outlaws or something similar is class too.

Just finished watching this. Was actually very very good. Was a bit disjointed around the middle due to the writers strike, but started and ended very well. One of those shows that made me genuinely sad that it was finished.

I'm like you mate.

Last boy scout
Remember the titans
Might ducks
cool runnings
Ballers (tv series)

Class filum like.

Its f***ing awesome mate. Lets not fuck about.

Wesley snipes and charlie sheen at their finest

Isn't The Last Boy Scout a Bruce Willis action type film? I always enjoy The Replacements when it is on - Keanu Reeves does his normal "non-acting" but a decent movie
