Yes, I agree. The fact that its a ridiculous tour gives the England players an excuse for imploding and being all out for their 6th lowest score in history.

The England team is on tour and playing a test match against NZ, representing their country and you excuse them because its a "ridiculous tour". I know who should go back to bed - you - the excuse maker extraordinaire. Unforgivable performance. 58 all out on the back of being walloped by the Aussies. :oops:

Clearly we will now lose heavily - probably by an innings.

Good seamers bowling first and batsmen can't cope.

Good seamers bowling second, batsmen can cope.

New Zealand might be best advised to declare overnight and get England batting in the first session again.

Fair point, not making excuses, but as Aggers said, 2 weeks ago Ali Cook was lambing on his farm. Something has to change.

Perfect storm today mind, had a feeling it would happen, not nearly out in the 20s though!
 
Switched the the game on at about 7am and thought there must've been a delay to to the weather to restrict them to 140 odd for 3. Turned SSN on at 8am to discover we were all out for 58! :eek:

It is obvious to me that we need more public school educated chaps in the team and running the show. Things were never like this when we had separate dressing rooms for gentlemen and players and separate entrances to the field of play.

Turned the TV on at 7.45 and looking at score thought "Have we been bowled out here?" Yes we bloody had.

Poor very poor.
 
Looking like another series where Root will be massively outscored off another of the worlds top batsmen....

Some of them players in that side are absolute shite man

As for your posts - they are as condescending as condescending gets. Your sweeping statements about people, who dont agree with you, knowing nothing about cricket is just about as childish as you can get.

We have been bowled out for 58 by New Zealand, following on from an absolute thrashing by Australia and your excuse making is laughable. The problem for England and the ECB is that we have been here many, many times before with them. Folding when the going gets tough and people making excuses for them.

England players are paid some of the best wages in world cricket, they have the best training facilities of just about anyone in the world, they are pampered to a degree that makes the Indian cricketers look like tramps, they are run by perhaps the most arrogant buffoons in world sport - the ECB and when the going gets tough for England - we fold. An excuse that "well we are playing away from home, so its acceptable to fold" is nonsense.

We are nearing the end of the winter tour, the players want to be home, they have just posted the 6th lowest score in England's long test match history...and one or two make excuses for them. Pathetic.

This was me too, even when they brought up the first innings stats on the left of the screen I wasn't able to compute.
