I am a soft old bastard went a little misty eyed reading that.
Used to love reading his posts. Made a connection with the lad and it was like we shared the pain after defeats. Lovely tribute and for family and close friends that will give a small crumb of comfort.

I've done two things with Quinny in mind this weekend. Reminded myself how lucky I am, and made sure my bird feeders are full.

Really sad I can’t make it this week but I really need to make an effort to make a trip up to the NE.
Hard to post on a message board and get people to honestly believe what you say but I also thought of him yesterday a few times.
Lots in common Supporting struggling football teams and topping up bird feeders every day.

Lisa, your cousin and I shared a love of watching Ospreys and I now live very close to a nest site in the Highlands of Scotland where Stephen would go to watch them
The Ospreys are heading back to Northern Europe after their winter in Africa, so I will make a point of visiting the nest site on Thursday in his honour.
It will be very appropriate if one of the birds has returned on or by that day

I am overdue a visit and history will tell you I can’t rely on Swindon to make wishes come true. It will happen and simply I need to make it happen.
