Micro appartments



They don't look too bad to me. During my degree I did a year out in Bristol where I shared a flat with two others and they pissed me off a lot. If I could have afforded somewhere like that close to work, where I could have had my own space, then it would have been quite nice. Not having built up much clutter to move from place to place, the lack of space would have been fine.

If things had worked out different, after graduating, I could imagine myself in one of those for a couple of years. By then I was all misty eyed and in love, so got a first floor flat with the missus. By the end of that, we were desperate for some decent outdoor space - which I think is very important to healthy living. When we bought our house, it was during a lovely summer. We bought a BBQ before a sofa!
 
30m2 isnt that small, in fact I'd say it was a perfect size for a professional single person/couple, or 49m2 for a double apartment.

I bet the later is about the same size of my Moorside flat, and I lived in that with the now wife and my 1st child without problems at all.

I thought they said 30sq feet? Which is a lot smaller.

I suspect in Cheadle Hulme it's potentially greenbelt or protected bits.

The developer claims hey are 20 per cent more affordable at £210,000.
Live in Cheshire, expect the price tag.

The range of communal facilities includes a WiFi-ready club lounge, where residents can watch movies on a big screen, shoot pool and catch up with friends.
Sounds like a glorified university hall of residents

30sq feet is about 5’x6’ - smaller than the box room in my old house, which was barely big enough for my (then) 9 month old when we moved! There’s no way you’d get living/sleeping, bathroom and kitchen into 30sq feet!
