It's a joy watching this England one day side, not only have they got the best one day side they have had for a long time (possibly ever) they are playing a fantastic brand of entertaining attacking cricket!

We need to start winning when batting first.

Anyways, bastard of a shift over, pizza and a glass of wine (I know, southern ponces!), and the cricket on the box.

Happy days.

A lot of people moaning about the pitch but am I the only one who thinks more ODI's like this would be good? The modern ODI has shifted the power balance towards the batsman significantly in the past 5-10 years that I personally don't mind them having to think more and work harder for their runs. More interesting that than seeing teams run up 300/350+ just whacking everything for 6.

Absolutely agree. Been a very good contest this.

Cruising again. Get Stokes on. Williamson outbatting Root already on the tour. He must be bottom of the "big 4" now. Does he even deserve to be compared with Smith, Kohli and Williamson at the moment?

First time we've dismissed Santner in the series - 150 odd runs later.

Tom Curran I've noticed is always expensive, very reminiscent of Stokes in his early days IMO though, can change a game with a crackerjack ball and take a wicket, but bowls far too many four-balls. BUT, he'll improve, he's immensely talented.
