Well I can't remember the towel but he started wearing hats with the badge on n that.

After following us against Standard Liege as well, one of many turncoats from back then.

:lol: Still yet to meet one turncoat. He basically played himself in the first series and he was black and white through and through. Served time for a bit of a frisk at a service station coming back from an away game when he was a young lad.

I know a few folk in Berwick thats the same mind , they wouldnt dream of leaving the house without a Mag badge on an item of clothing. Never go to games either.

No mag ever goes to games, ever. They're all plastic. Especially the ones outside the city walls.

Forgot Ray Winstone was in it.

The Fugitive great episode

Aye class, one of the best cities in Europe to go on the drink

Was based there when we had a pre season tour under Bruce in Germany

The footy was shite but the week was superb

f***ing loved Bomber me.
Wish bomber tackled McGowan rather than Neville in The Alien

The hut wouldn't have been left standing

One thing I never got Grunwald was quick to sack Oz because of that barroom brawl

Yet kept McGowan on despite his numerous altercations

How did he go all Mag? He was 'all Mag' right through from Episode 1. He hung up his Newcastle towel in the first episode
In the first episode, he pulls a face when Dennis asks him why the car has a
Sunderland sticker (“I didn’t know you supported them?”) and says “no, no, I don’t, the bloke I bought the car off does.”

"You belongs to Bomber"
“Ah fancy that one Dennis, Suzie Wong”.

Just watching S1 E3

Den is trying to talk Nev into going to see Sunderland. Bomber makes a point and Nev, sticking up for Sunderland relies "well they're better than Bristol Rovers any day".

Well Nev, it was 3-3 and it was City.
Bomber agrees and says he’s a City fan.

“Oh that’s a good picture, what’s the film, Scott of the Antarctic?” “Haw, haw. Well, it worked allreet when ‘e showed uz it. Howld on, he said it sometimes needs a bit of a tap.”

Bomber says he’s a city fan in this episode but in series 4 he’s wearing a Rovers strip.
There’s another mistake. Oz tells that German woman he fancies in S1 that his dad was a waster and that he last saw him hunting about the house for socks before he went to the Gulf. In S2, he tells Rod “he built ships that went all around the world and yet he never left Tyneside.”

Aye there’s loads throughout the series like! Bomber goes from having 5 kids in series one to 4 in series three. There’s a site listing them all.

Didn’t McGowan have something over Grunwald?

Nah, but the lads did when they found him in a porn cinema. That’s how they got Grunwald to sack McGowan.

It is a bit of inconsistency like how Oz got the bullet and McGowan didn’t but Oz was always mouthing off at the German gaffers.
