Coleman/Bain Q and A with fans.

As much as I dislike Bain, this has Short written all over it. Coleman had a dig in the press and I imagine Short doesn’t want to risk more negative publicity.

Totally agree mate. I received a text this morning to say Bain was buying the club as part of a consortium. I then read something similar on here
I don’t think Short cares anymore. Just sees us as a number on a spreadsheet. “Oh yes I own an English Soccer team, wish I could sack it off.”

If Bain won't face the fans, could I suggest we the fans face Bain on Saturday, or will he pull out of attending that as well ?
Bain and Coleman surely? They’re a tag team now. All cosied up after the manager’s recent outburst against Short. A bit like me just not attending a game without notice. f***ing shameful.

This could be the catalyst marra. What you reckon. Razor blades, tennis balls, paper planes or white hankies?
Paper planes with razor blades sticking out the front from the North and South stand. Tennis balls wrapped in hankies from the West and East.

Such a Q&A would be better off being at the end of the season when we know which league we'll be in.
nothing can at the club until then anyway.

I don’t think he cares anymore, but he also doesn’t want publicity. If either Bain or Coleman put the boot in, it will almost certainly make the papers.

It was used in a possible scenario that could give Short an exit. It involved Bain taking a similar role that Quinn had with external backing and short remaining in a small capacity. Similar to how he was before he took full control.

Maybe some specialist bean counter, such as @Grumpy Old Man could tell us what way forward is ( probably) the best FOR ELLIS financially eg administration etc?

The worst way for Short is administration. That's the one course of action that guarantees he loses everything. The best course is probably what's being done; control the debt, get ti down to a level which can easily be refinanced, and hope that that makes the club more attractive to a buyer. In the meantime, talk to anyone who's prepared to talk seriously as a potential buyer.
