Open Letter To Ellis Short/Petition

No its not. Id argue sitting in silence doing nothing as the club slowly dies is cringeworthy.

Will it make any difference. Possibly not. But its the start of the support expressing its dissatisfaction at the current situation which is long overdue if you ask me.

Not going is all we can do.
It will get sold at some point but it'll be nothing to do with a petition.

So we’ll just roll over then. Do nothing, say nothing while our club goes down the shitter. Doing something however futile you think it might be is better than doing nothing and giving up. Our players are are doing that now. Are you ok with that ?

I have stopped going. And will not renew. That is the only realistic thing we can do.
Short wants to sell, it appears he's dropped the price.
A petition will not bother a man 6000 miles away.

I appreciate you cant always do things by committee and you would never please everyone but the wording could be a bit better.

As been said demanding things never works!

I think we could have also thanked Mr Short more for his efforts whilst appreciating it hasn't worked out the way any of us would have wanted. At the end of the day we want him to sell the club at an acceptable price and he is going to take a big financial hit whatever way you look at it...being a bit more grateful and magnanimous would be better in my humble opinion and show us in a much better light to any would be investors.

Thank him for his efforts?

If all it achieves is making me feel marginally better then it’s mission accomplished. We’re already a soft touch on the field, does that mean we have to drop our hoggers and bend over off it ?

As it says. Please have a read, and get it signed.
It can hopefully spark something that will remove the fans current apathy towards the whole situation.
Also gives fans around the globe a change to have their say.
Done ... its a bit desperate ... but its a sign of the times

Ah, so playing in front of an empty ground wouldn't be embarrassing?

If we all took that view the club would probably cease to exist at some point. It would also make us look massively unattractive to buyers.

He's apparently dropped the asking price to £50 million. (Mirror ?) Someone surely must come in at this price. One single top class player is worth more than our whole club now !
Then there's the issue of 68m of debt still owed to SBC which is due in a year and a bit. That 50m is just to clear HIS debt not the clubs, so in theory it's 118m there or thereabouts, a new owner would need pretty quickly.
