VW Golf R32 ...150+MPH on the M1 ..Getting chased by an M3. (he/she bottled it!)

I was coming back from Cheltenham on New years Day early morning for a match.

Not a soul on the motorway got back to Sunlun in 1:35

I got to 45 years old before I had a fast car. It was a Golf R and aye it was fast as fuck but the percentage of time I thought wow this is fast as fuck, compared to the time when it was just in a queue with all the other traffic I realised it was all a bit pointless. Me current car only has 3 cylinders but it reminds me not to forget me phone, far more useful.

Nothing faster than a Citroen C1 then? Knew it.

Go on.

Wives family are involved in vintage Bentley parts and restoration and there is a hub for vintage cars in Bicester (Old air force base).

Driven a few cars down at request. 1927 blower and a pre 1925 chain driven being the highlights. Also a very rare Sunbeam. All worth an absolute fortune and knackering to drive. But not that fast...

Rs500 cossie with about 500bhp, great fun but scary. Either that or a nova with 2.0 16v turbo motor in it, that was interesting

Other than that imprezas, evos, m3, 21 turbo, loads of 5 / 11 turbos and rs turbos

They are eye,one of the lads has a S3 .Rs3 much more brutal
I’d have a RS3 but just can’t justify the extra money for essential the same car interior wise and for everyday use there’s no difference. If the new Supra looks anything like the concept pictures that’ll be getting ordered in 2019.

Montego Turbo back in the day, coming back from an away match had it up to about 130, not big or clever but lived to tell the tale....

My current car , a Nissan 370Z Nismo. Not supercar fast but 339bhp , 3.7 Litre V6 petrol and 156mph is streets away from the £80 1974 mini I started out my driving career in! Also had a Porsche 944 , a couple of Capri 2.8iS inc a 280 , a Mitsi Lancer Evo II GSR and a Golf V R32. Had my fair share of shite as well mind you!

I love Astons but I can't get away with that. It looks like Toyota have done the styling
You can get a DB9 for under 30k now if you fancy gambling that something expensive won’t go bang!
