Police asking for yet more money in McCann Investigation

So you're saying that the stories disprove your claim that there was an "agreed timeline"? Another own goal mate.

I was quoting the Guardian, that's all and the timeline isn't my point .... it's the generally weird behaviour.

Such as why is David Payne, who's wife is looking after a 2 year old and a four year old, going to the McCann's apartment to help Kate McCann with her children?

The two stories don't add up do they?

And why is David Payne, who's wife is looking after a 2 year old and a four year old, going to the McCann's apartment to help Kate McCann with her children?

I have not read these statement and have no wish to really, but surely if there is something that needs clarifying, then that was up to the police to do that. maybe the have maybe they have not.

If you're referring to my "cold and calculating criminal" reference, then I guess sarcasm doesn't register with you, no matter how obvious it is.

What are they guilty or innocent of?
No Tippie. You started this claim that his inconsistencies showed his innocence, so why are you suddenly so reticent?

Who was that bloke in the 80s, who used to investigate crimes of all types and usually ended up by getting belted in the mouth?

Or that bloke who did that documentary on Jimmy saville?

He got some evidence that the police couldn't do

I see you're still struggling with sarcasm. I implied that the supposedly sloppy nature of the statement undermined any notion that the doctor was part of a cunning criminal conspiracy that has tricked the police, the public, and the world's media.

I never once said that notion was mine, I was ridiculing it.

Roger Cook.

Hold on and I'll find the Carter USM song that mentions him.

the gaspers statement was not given to the police, which implies that they were interviewed by police and the statement compiled. It reads like it was written by somebody who works in the legal profession, it is more that style and more than likely handed to the police.

not sure I follow you there.

The Gaspar statement was sent by Leicestershire police to the Portuguese, it is in the official files:

P.J. POLICE FILES: DOCTOR KATHERINA GASPAR ALLEGED PAYNE INCIDENT

scroll down a bit

So you're ridiculing the thought that just cos his story makes little to no sense that means he's innocent, right?
