I agree it's awful, but haway, I'm 50 and I've heard of, I think, 18 of them. Not that I like most of them, but surely at your age you've heard of more than 11?
Who would have thought, posters on a football forum (most of which are tipping well past middle aged) don't like the line up of a festival which is aimed at 16-18 year olds?
Kids don't listen to guitar music, so it's little surprise that the majority of the artists aren't anymore.
100% this.Who would have thought, posters on a football forum (most of which are tipping well past middle aged) don't like the line up of a festival which is aimed at 16-18 year olds?

Should stick to festivals like Wireless. She is immense.
Should stick to festivals like Wireless.
Nope, just listed the ones I know. The ones with a star next to them are bands I've actually listened to
Fall Out Boy*
Wolf Alice
Annie Mac
Kendrick Lamar*
Panic at the Disco*
Sum 41*
Papa Roach*
Kings of Leon*
Courteeners*
Skepta
Wombats
Of the 11 I've heard of, I've never even listened to 4 of them. Of the ones I have listened to, they're all old bands, with the exception of Kendrick.
I can't believe this day has come - but what the fuck do they listen to?
Yeh, they had some very good bands in when I was there. But the festival itself was terrible.I'm asking myself the same thing. The bands I recognise are mostly bands that have been around since I was a teenager. Kendrick Lamar is by far and away the biggest act they've got there mind.
2004 had some great acts as well
The Offspring
The White Stripes
The Distillers
Morrissey
Green Day
Franz Ferdinand
Dropkick Murphys
Thursday
The Von Bondies
Taking Back Sunday
There's grime and rap artists all over that
not what people go to Reading/Leeds to see
Going the same way as V Festival which was glorious around the turn of the century but slowly became a glorified Radio One roadshow

Last year I think they had the best lineup of all the festivals. This year they are most certainly last
Just had the exact same thought, think it might be a bit of bothI can't tell if Leeds/Reading has become absolute dogshit, or whether I've gotten to the age where I just don't know what modern mainstream music is.
I've heard of in total, 11 bands there.
None of the headliners strike me as your typical headline act- certainly wouldn’t hand over £170 for that
