Sorry mate, what other comments need addressing?

At the end of the day, He knows he fucked up, we know he fucked up, and we all want to part ways. Problem is... no fucker wants to buy us, and tbh I can't blame them.

Also, what kind of message does a protest send to potential buyers?

Doesn't matter, not important.

I'd donate @Reiver can't march mind :)

The alternative would be to book in as many Sunderland supporters as possible, you can have a suite ;)

At a given signal we put up all the flags and start singing the old songs ..... have someone with a video camera.

Make sure the press are tipped off and make a dignified fuss as we're asked to pack our bags and go .... etc etc etc.

For anyone reading this, I'm serious.

Like I said mate I was typing while watching the match and not really concentrating.

America was a daft idea but everyone knows about Skibo.

The clientele there would shit their pants if they knew hundreds of Sunderland people were marching on the place.

Short would certainly know and meeting us would be his choice ..... it would make a point whether he's there or not.

Fair enough but you didn't respond to my other comments ..... only this one.

Just one point Reive mate. My first missus was a screamin' redheaded Scottish born lass from the Highlands, and every croft I went in to up there had a picture of "the gathering of the clans" on their walls. Will the locals not just be a wee bit sensitive to hundreds of Englishmen wearing red, heading towards Culloden ? Maybe an expeditionary force first, just to test the lie of the sodden ground, and suss the pubs out? I'm all for a march north, but it may be a bit uncomfortable with a sgian-dubh up one's rump.:D

I'm part Scottish mate, there's nowt they like more than the underdog taking on the Lords of the castle ;)

Or the sacking of the Walsall pub ....

I told you never to mention that ;)

BTW are you going to Bristol, I'll need to sort your ticket.

“The Siege Of Skibo Castle” sounds like a Scooby Doo episode.
That’s it! March in fancy dress! Non threatening and bound to attract media attention. Micky Mouse, Scooby Doo, Elvis, Donald Duck, Superman, Marilyn, Spiderman, Batman and Robin, Uncle Sam, Stan n Ollie, Fred n Barney, Top Cat, Freddie Kruger, Neil Armstrong, Baseball Players, Gridiron players, Basketball players, Buzz
Ightyear, Barney the Dinosaur, Nemo, The Warriors, Cowboys, Native Americans;) etc etc. A troop of yer basic All American icons heading to meet a fellow citizen would go viral. Sorted.
I’m washing my hair that weekend btw.
