Hard to tell from that if it will be good or bad. Nice seeing the shiny new falcon.

One thing that any fan seeing it will need to do is forget about how Ford played Solo and accept the new character will be different. Same as when we got a new, younger Obi Wan.

I can accept young Obi Wan. I can't accept Shia Le Bauerf as son of Indy. Which way will this go?

I thought Ewan McGregor was fine as Obi Wan. It was pretty much everything else that was shit

The evidence on Ron Howard doesn't support that. Ron Howard up until about 15 years ago, yes. Recently he's not been so reliable

Disagree marra, checked out his IMDb page and all the film's he's made that I've seen (most of them) over the last 15 years have been decent.

Couldn't comment on how they did in terms of gross, this is star wars though so that's not a concern regardless of the film quality.
