Agree chops lad. He’ll make a score like this then go another twenty games without getting into double figures, his bowling is largely cannon fodder at international level anarl.

He seemed to be able to swing the ball well in India when he played there in the World T20 to be fair.

Complete slogger with the bat though

Just hit Nathan Lyon for 34 in an over, was on for a Gary Sobers but could only manage a 4 from the last ball.

Another unlucky not to get an IPL contract
I think Willey has potential as a batsman but has been under used in his England T20 games, though to be fair we have power all the way in T20

It was some knock that mate.
Enabled us to get into town earlier than planned for a few more beers that

Loads of this England one day side unlucky not to have an IPL contract. They all deserve one imo. Yet there are nearly 20 Aussies there, and they're shite!

The ECB are to blame for not having a proper T20 competition to help show case our players talent. Our tournament isn't even kicking off until next summer.
Sorry but I will never be persuaded that the City Franchise shite is a good idea. We already have a good, popular competition based on tradition and teams people can relate to. It is that tradition that makes it unique. The FTECB just refuse to make use of it. With the right leadership, someone with passion for the county game, they could follow the lead of the Premier League. For all it's faults, one of the things it does well is combine the tradition and support for the clubs down the ages with modern thinking and a global appeal.

Seen 5x6 hit twice never 6x6

Both failed off last ball lad at Philly and lad at Durham City last year

Thankfully not off my lads bowling ;)
I’ve seen two, played in one of them. Wasn’t off my bowling surprisingly.

Plus the one I played in was a 37!

I don't totally disagree. I suggested combining a big county with a smaller one, keep traditional rivals apart and alternate home games. The teams would have new names but still have an identity. You pick the best 11 from 2 teams plus overseas, everyone gets a share of gate money and you would end up with a 9 team competition. Yorkshire / Leicester v Lancashire / Derbyshire, Durham / Notts v Warks / Northants. You could even have a Scotland / Ireland side 'Celtic' to bring it up to 10 teams.

Seen Beaver ( Brandon ) hit 6 in an over in a friendly playing for Durham Pilgrims but think it was about a 9 ball over with wides and no balls

Will give you a bell tomorrow for a catch up mate

why is he unlucky he isn't great lets be honest
Think that's harsh, averages at least 2 wickets every game far better record than some that have been bought for over a million and usually gets the best players out too. Dangerous with the bat if not somewhat inconsistent however does seem to do better up the order when he has a bit of time, not advocating he's used like that for England mind but aNarine type role would suit him in the IPL. Every team he has played for in 20/20 has been a better force when hes in the team Northants, Yorkshire, Perth Scorchers and England.
