Switch digital prices.

Just got a switch today. For the PS4 I use a US account cause the games are usually cheaper in dollars (I know I should buy physical and sell them when done blah blah!)

Is this the same for the switch, ie is it worth setting up initially with a US account, how do the digital prices compare between here and the states.

Unless you are buying an absolutely massive SD card just buy the cartridges. Nintendo games tend not to depreciate either.

The way Nintendo has their console set up I'd be surprised if you could actually set up a US account. Can you?

I will echo what SRG said, mind, in that you'd be better off buying physical as Nintendo IPs very rarely come down in price.

Didn’t try in the end but just presumed you could do the same as the PS4. Setup an account with fake us address and then just buy credit on amazon.com

Nintendo's architecture is usually pretty backwards and locked down. Worth looking into if you're set on it, mind. I'd definitely be buying physical if I owned a Nintendo, though, sorry to repeat myself!

For curiosity sake, why did you buy a Switch?

I've been on/off the idea for about a month but can't justify the games except from Mario Kart and Zelda.

I got it at a sale price 10% off, wanted to have a go at Zelda and odyssey. Tbh not even sure they’re games I’ll like but I figure if I don’t like it I can sell it for pretty close to what I paid for it.

I've always fancied one on finance via a catalogue just struggled to justify the cost of it.

Mario Kart is the obvious game I'd play other than that I'm not sure the current game lineup is worth it.

Mario Odyssey too!

I must have sunk over 100 hours into Zelda since Christmas, tried fuck all else.
I can’t even begin to describe how unreal Zelda is. You’re just above me as I’m on 85 hours but I can honestly see that passing 200 because I have 2 dungeons to go plus the castle, the expansion, about 40 side quests, 50 shrines left and about 750 Korok seeds to go. Some areas I’ve only quickly rode through on horse so I need to go back as well.

How can you check how much time you've played?

I'm going through korok seeds at the minute, don't know if I'll get 900 like.

Still have some missing pieces of armour, none are fully upgraded either.
