Anyone in any doubt now that he should've played in the Ashes?
Apart from ModernHow did he bowl? Was his speeds up in the 90s? His figures suggest he was the most economic of all the bowlers.
Yes Mark Wood.Anyone in any doubt now that he should've played in the Ashes?
Because he bowled 10 overs in a one day game it's slightly differentAnyone in any doubt now that he should've played in the Ashes?
If he'd bowled 3 overs each day he'd of been more use than broad, ball, Overton n curran
Has he played in a Test yet?Roy should have been opening the batting
Roy should have been opening the batting
I wasn’t being seriousDon't think so.... completely different game if he played his game in tests he would average 20 at best. Might come off once in 30 games.
Wood should have played, and plunkett should have been given a test too. Both would have been more of a threat then jake ball or chris woakes.
Anyone in any doubt now that he should've played in the Ashes?
Let's remember Plunkett isn't a 1st choice in Yorkies CC XI. He can't bowl lengthy spells required in red ball cricket without breaking down. Likewise with Wood.Plunkett and Rashid didn't disgrace themselves either.
All three would have been in an Ashes Squad not picked by morons,
He hasn't. And his first class record is good nut not superb. He has 78 games and an average of 37 but only 8 centuries and when you reckon that Jennings got 7 centuries in one season..........Has he played in a Test yet?
Do fast bowlers really need wass run ups? Do they actually end up running faster on delivery if they start their run at Scotch Corner? I've never understood that. What does he do different to get more pace than Broad or Anderson off a tiny run up?
