Tom Hanks & The Norton show

I'm aware this isn't new, but dear lord these people are lost up their own arse cavities. Joshua is areet, mainly because he looks as bewildered as me and isn't saying much. But the rest, its like 3 stage school kids dressed up as adults and asked to act like typical spoilt stage school kids.

Cringey as fuck sad self absorbed freaks without a single neuron firing in normality. A strange watch.
This...Watched the first 5 mins and had to turn it ower as it was horrific...

I like Tom Hanks but he does play characters who are well ..... Tom Hankish.

I am not a great fan of Gary Oldman but at least he can play huge range of very different characters.

Hanks always appears to be a very nice bloke though

PS
Graham Norton has the same effect on me as he had on Father Ted

Hanks came across really well I thought. As the only other guest other than Joshua was the little lassie who I now know was off Game of Thrones and was noticeably quiet unless directly spoken to, I struggle to see what his point was in the OP?
If OP doesn't like luvvies cuddling on TV why is he watching Graham Norton ffs

Hanks reminded me of Lee Evans with all the miming, impressions and clowning he did to entertain the audience and put the other guests at ease.

He did really well at bringing Anthony Joshua in and got some canny lines out him.

He put in a shift of Mvila proportions and must have been paggered afterwards.

I thought Joshua came across really well. And everybody with a soul likes Tom Hanks. Whatshername off GoT was nondescript, but she hasn't really done much yet.

I think I have a soul, as much as anyone else does like.

Tom Hanks has become a parody of himself, the decades of isolation from the real world palpable. His soul is lost.

Ive gone off him, sorry and all that like Hanks fans!

I didn't have much choice in watching it and when I saw them hamming it up at the beginning I feared the worst.

But as it went on it seemed to me that TH was going out of his way to help the newbies and the crack he got out of AJ was tremendous for a young boxer who hasn't been doing chatshows for long.

All the while being completely inoffensive and family friendly, gotta love Tom :D

I don’t like Tom Hanks.
Can’t deny he’s been in some decent flicks and has turned in a few decent performances but something about him irritates me. He was good in Philadelphia cos he was playing a sick dying man so had to be low key. Usually his default is that monotone shouty thing he does “I have created FIYAH!!!” (The scene in Philadelphia with the opera was nauseating!).

Also, somehow he’s ingratiated himself into the rock and roll hall of fame thingy so he’s often on there introducing bands. Why? Could they not have got someone with at least some direct connection to music (like say, a musician?) instead of him?

As for Gary Oldman, Hanks isn’t fit to wipe his bum! Now THAT is an actor, not a ‘film star’.

You've accused him of being a scenery chewer before. I think the general consensus was that you must must never have seen his fillums.
