Living room TV set up

Aye but there is plenty of room so that the leads connected into them don't stick out past the side of the telly.

Good. The only issue is i'd need a long unit so that when the wires go down and come out of the wall at the bottom, they'd be hidden. My current unit is only about 4 foot long so wouldnt hide it.

Guessing you have the Sonos sub too? Whats it like? I got a Samsung soundbar about 5 years ago. Been top notch to be fair. Anyway since then I have scattered Sonos speakers throughout the house. Got a mixture of Play 1 and Play 3 throughout the house. Got two Play 1's paired in the living room so have considered the Play Bar and sub to hook up with them and create proper surround sound, but can't quite justify the cost, especially while the Samsung is working fine.
I've got a couple of play one's and a soundboard around the telly room. Not sure whether to splash out on a sub though.is it worth the cost? The set up I've got around great as it is.
I've also got a couple of the new Alexis Soros one's.that's worth doing but they don't pair up with the none Alexis one's

Someone ‘forgot’ to tell the shop assistants this!
I was going to buy some Bose noise cancelling in ear headphones in ponteland airport yesterday. The shop assistant was determined to get me to spend more.
"Get the over ear one's"
I don't want them as they are uncomfortable on a flight
"Get the Bluetooth in ear one's"
Not what I want
"Ok, if you can find me a situation where the Bluetooth one's are a disadvantage I'll give you them for free"
You can't plug them into a plane's entertainment system and the plane's entertainment system doesn't have Bluetooth, will you still give me my receipt in case I have to replace them if they're defective.

He couldn't get away quick enough

Prick

The money some people pay for ‘premium’ cables as well...eyewatering!!
When I first got a 3D TV Curry's tried to flog me some at £100 Each they even had the nerve to alarm tag the f£#king box after laughing in the guys face told him to shove them where the sun don't shine

I think I’ve decided on a few inches above ideal viewing height- so about 45” from floor to middle. Still not quite happy as my lad could still touch the screen but then he could climb on a unit if I have one below anyway.

Had a bit of an argument with the Mrs (no) about positioning (oo err). She wants it in the centre of the long wall but I wanted it more to the right so it’s more in-line with where the sofa will be.
She’s won for now but I think I’ll get a mount that extends out half a metre and swivels so if needs be it could pretty much face the sofa.

as a matter of interest , on your LG can you move apps to the home page ? what a feck on it is on mine to bring up smart home page then scroll down to bottom rt corner and select my apps then wait for it to load , to get to an app , all the default apps on the home page I dont use , so rather than feck on like that I use a box. Of course the browser is crap , you can't download anything and its as slow as hell .
