I'm not sticking up for AJ but his offence was nothing like that. It was of kissing, grooming and asking for more of a under 16 yet old girl. That is a very serious offence but it was not done against her will.

He'll probably resume his career at a smaller club in France or Italy (what he did was legal there so there wouldn't be fan uproar).

To be honest there's plenty of people on a wind up on here. Often these are nufc fans masquerading as Safc fans for subversive purposes.
I honestly haven't met one person away from this message board in real life that is an apologist for Adam Johnson......not a single one. Everyone I've met in Sunderland has condemn it. So it's really what you perceive is the reality. A message board full of wind up merchants? Or actual opinion from people without the anominity of this message board.

the issue here his, and you personify it, is that anyone who doesnt want him destroyed forever is an apologist. to be fair to AJ he has paid a price for his crime a hundred times greater than a non celebrity would have.

I didn’t even bring in the money factor. He lied and indirectly took money out of every one of your pockets due to it.

It was more than just kissing, but the fact it was a girl under 16 means that technically it was against her will because she was a child and he was a grown man using his fame and influence to influence her into illegal acts. There is no defending him on this
