No problems with him getting on with his life elsewhere just not at the scene of his crime where his actions could still be raw for his victim, her family and everyone else caught up in it. They also have a right to enjoy football without reminders of a dark time.

The influence of that particular newspaper on my moral position is negligible. Id accept and respect Johnson's right of liberty and to pursue a life outside of jail once he has served his sentence. I hope his previous profession doesn't give him another opportunity however.

This is exactly what I’ve been saying. If a club is stupid enough to take him in then it’s not him I have the issue with
 
The guys actions were indefensible.
He fully deserved a custodial sentence.
I dont want him back and neither does safc I am certain.

However I am convinced his lengh of sentence was based on his life style as a "professional footballer".
Seen teachers and policeman in the news afterwards equally guilty of grooming who had far shorter sentences.
And black cab drivers who get one year for each proven offence.
My opinion for what its worth.

I don't think many of those type of companies you mention would allow a return to their business if one of their employees became a sex offender on their watch.

I wouldn’t no. But if an employer takes him on then they are the ones that should be questioned, not the person.
Going way off subject, the BBC have got away with everything in my eyes

There's been accusations on this post that people's morals go out of the window when it comes to football. I would argue that people's judgment goes out of the window when it comes to sex crimes.
