Load of shite. Inmates aren’t allowed to wear any items affiliated to any form of sports team ie football shirts, tracksuits etc for either recreational or training purposes. So the idea of him swanning about in a full kit is extremely far fetched even by the sun standards.

Whilst Johnson is a very, very good player and one of the best I've seen play for us, I hope he is never considered for a return here.

He did but thankfully crimes of that nature are treated far more seriously (for want of a better phrase) nowadays. Not a chance anybody could do what Rix did in this day and age and ever get back into football at a high level. Seem to recall that Chelsea kept his job open for him even after he admitted what he'd done :eek:

are people genuinely saying they'd have him back? Apart from being a convicted sex offender and weirdo, he became an absolute embarrassment to the club and the area. He and his lawyers played the club like a fiddle throughout the entire sordid affair with his change of plea.

Not only should he never play for SAFC again, he shouldn't play professional football again either.

The club should insist that the article is removed. The Sun are basically associating him with their brand.
