How many were to good balls?

Lets just see percentage wise how good our batsmen have been (yes its subjective, but most people would agree on a good ball)

Daft question IMO. As you point out its incredibly subjective. Some dismissal as look incredibly tame but can be down to how well the bowler has set you up. A straight ball getting someone LBW after a dozen short balls forcing them onto the back foot for example. Also when people have been caught down the legside it looks like a strangle but its often the pace of the delivery that has produced a rushed shot so it could be argued it was a good ball.

Jesus, mods, remove this thread rentaghost cant compute :)

I agree with the Ghost. Context is everything.

If all you are trying to do is keep your wicket then some of the dismissals have been horrible, but that's not the whole game is it.

So what was the whole game? Not to be beaten?
Its obviously not just about keeping your wicket is it . Else we'd have 7 Chris Tavares out there. Some of the dismissals have been horrible and avoidable but someone somewhere, must be insisting that the score board needs to keep ticking (or the batsmen are shit and can't avoid daft shots - probably the case)
