It's a valid point, today was the first day of the series where we've tested the stamina of their bowling attack. What's more, we did an excellent job on Lyon.

Once their initial bouncer barrage of Malan and Bairstow failed, they looked very ordinary. Granted, praise of the highest order must go to the two batsmen, they played beautifully.

If we can get through the first session with no fewer than 6 down, their bowlers could really be sore and stiff come the second innings.

Any side strains, stress fractures or ligament tears wouldn't be a bad thing
