It's not him they're talking about ..... he's not there ....

Like who?

Can't be Stokes, he's not there.

.... and of course they're not talking about the senior players, they the article said.

Plus, they've just included Stokes in the one-day squad.
I think it’s a broad view

You’re taking it too literally

  • George Dobell in Perth
" has been suspended from all remaining fixtures on England Lions' tour of Australia and given a final written warning over his conduct. He was also fined the maximum allowable amount for an England Lions player, which ESPNcricinfo understands is close to 1,500. But Duckett, the 23-year-old who played four Tests for England towards the end of 2016, escaped being sent home early".

So he won't play any games yet is not being sent home. What's the thinking behind that sanction?

Good question. In the meantime he gets a nice holiday abroad on expenses.

FTECB.... thinking.... hmmm, do you see the problem?

Might be they don't want him arriving at Heathrow pushing his bas on a trolley to be greeted by questioning journalists - ie to keep him out of sight and to minimise publicity.

The Times says he wasn't the only one throwing drinks but has been left to "carry the can"

Course he wasn't, he's just the unfortunate one that happened to pour some on the dour bastard Anderson who's probably complained to coaching staff...

He doesn't look the brightest, but I can't imagine he's thought 'oh, lets liven this night out up by pouring a drink over someone' by himself...

Re Duckett, the drink of the 82/83 Ashes tour was big jugs of whisky & ice cream - that would have made a mess of Jimmy Anderson's quiff

I read this and the replies the other day

It sounds like Anderson is a bit of a dick?

Sounds like Bumble thinks Duckett is being hard done by .... puts the blame on management. Give an rules and if anyone transgresses punish em but don't make a 3 ring circus out of it all.

Doesn't agree with curfews either.
