Suspended following an incident in a Perth bar.

It was the 1st night out following the lifting of the curfew, with senior players also in attendance.
 

You’d think:

“This is my chance. The batting is struggling. These pitches are more likely to suit me after I failed in the sub contintent. If I take this chance I could hit the big time. I think I’ll stay at the hotel and get some sleep, that way I’m performing at my best and I don’t run the risk of something stupid happen when there is all this bad press around the team. I can go on the piss with my mates when I get back after all”

Knowing and working with a lot of non-cricket fans who happen to be taking a small interest in the Ashes, because it's the Ashes, I'm sick of trying to explain the various embarrassments on and off the field to them as their "fountain of all cricketing knowledge". It's a f***ing joke.

Quite happy to talk about cricket to anyone but this tour is really wearing thin now.

Maybe, depends on the team culture.

I imagine you'd be considered a massive melt if you didn't go out with "the lads".
