Mad decision, this pitch looks made for batting. It might be a bit more tricky when it gets dark, but if they're 150-1 by then, what's the real advantage?

On another note, I see the Aussies have continued to butcher one of the best grounds in the country into a corporate concrete bowl.

Unbelievable. This is going to be remembered like Nasser at Brisbane. We’ve got a shit bowling attack and the only way we will win a test match here is with scoreboard pressure from batting first and posting a good score. So he puts them in. I’m fuming.

Badly needed, we were looking awful.

Overton, just another bog standard trundler. Woakes' extra pace and bounce got the wicket but even he lacks aggression.

Hadn't realised we put them in until reading the thread. Need to get this twat out soon and I'm not confident we can do it.
