999, What’s your emergency?

It’s on channel 4 just now. Some bloke tugging in front of the night receptionist in a premier inn. Caught on cctv. Bloody mental this.

One bloke (scouser) rings up and says he needs an ambulance. They say what's the emergency? He replies he needs to get home and has no money for a cab. They tell him that's not an emergency, so he just starts abusing them calling them wankers etc.

as someone could be in severe danger and his actions could cost lives. Should be arrested.
This is exactly what I mean - £50 fixed penalty fine per instance.

What if this person is calling from a phone box?
Its worse than littering ffs.
Make them give your name and address over the phone as soon as its clear it isn't a relevant call.

And yes, it is miles worse than littering - but if there can be an on the spot find for that, why not this?

Of course there should be a fine for blatant piss taking.
You know for a fact that someone will mention the mental health situation of someone doing this though.
That could be their way of avoiding a fine

The person who processes the fine can check? Something has to be done tbh.

Bloke used to ring the Ambulance Service to talk to the nurses and roped them into talking about anal sex claiming he just wanted medical advice about it. Caught a few of them out over the years. You could hear him knocking one out if you listened carefully

Yeah he wouldn't be speaking to a nurse like.
