Koeman gone

Whilst I loosely see the sentiment of your post mate. Not sure how you can compare them with the car crash that is us

Expectation as much as anything else. We continue to turn up hoping to see success. We had the trip to Wembley and the last minute escapes but dream of success. Everton have spent a small countries GDP and invested in Koeman. I’m not suggesting they are the car crash that is Sunderland but do believe they thought they’d be successful this year. No different to us thinking we’d turned a corner with Big Sam only for him to bigger off and is to lurch back into the murky depths.

Never replaced Lukaku. Fatal.
Same thing happened to Steve Clarke at West Brom when he had them 8th with lukaku

Has Grayson “lost the dressing room”? With the possible exception of Kone I don’t see a group of players that aren’t putting in the effort. I see a group of players that either (i) aren’t good enough or (ii) are chronically low on confidence, following years of getting beat most weeks. The primary exceptions are Grabban and McGeady - two players who Grayson brought in and have hit the ground running.
You might add that we have no shape which is down to Larry

Believe it or not some clown of a sports reporter has suggested Moyes could do a job at Everton :D:D:D:eek:
To be fair to Moyes he has the best record for Everton in the Premier League era, and that is despite starting off without two pennies to rub together.

I was quite surprised he had a better win and points to game ratio than Martinez and Koeman.

Such bullshit. They've had a very difficult run of games to start with and he's not been allowed to get them back on form. They're kidding themselves if they think they'll get anyone better.

Behave man the money they've spent

Should least be mid table not getting humped 5-2 off Arsenal

Just for balance what I've watched the last few weeks has been as bad as anything I've seen from everton and I've been going 34 years.

They looked a mess, no plan, Koeman showed no sign of ever integrating all the pointless new signings

the worst thing about this sacking is that cunt Alan Stubbs seems to be popping up with words of wisdom on every channel.

Best gig on the planet, being a football manager. Get a four year deal fuck up and you get paid out, some other useless bunch will hire you..people tsalking about Moyes back at Everton FFS...see.
The same clueless fucknuts on the gravy train. It seems to be about who you know rather than how you perform. The up and coming foreign coaches seem to have a lot more nous than their equivalent British ones. They actually seem to understand that in the modern game: pace, ball retention and passing ability are essential attributes not a bonus.

Thankfully .

He's had millions to spend in the summer, he knew Lukaku wanted to leave since around March and he then had 6 weeks to find some sort of replacement. His excuses were pathetic because him and the board decided to throw all their efforts in to bringing in Giroud who messed us about. How can a manager not have a list of backup strikers, and move towards them, in case of Giroud not signing?

Him and Moshiri then started saying something about once you can't get option A or B, the other options aren't worth it. He's genuinely trying to claim that there were no other options out there other than Giroud and Benteke (if the rumours are to believed that he was option B). So we ended up with an unproven Sandro, Calvert Lewin who has now scored something like 1 in 19, and an ageing Rooney who doesn't stay up front anyway. It's laughable. You start off with a list of say Giroud and Benteke, then when you can't get them, you work down the list. He spent ages on the Sigurdsson transfer which is now looking quite pointless given that we didn't sign Giroud or Benteke as Sigurdsson's strengths are creating chances for those types of striker.

People may wrongly say he only got 9 games. He had 15 games, and we only put in an acceptable performance for the majority of the game in 1 of them - Hajduk Split at home. The performances have been dire, his selections have been awful and the passion has been sapped from the supporters. At Burnley there was audible boos at the end of the game. On Sunday there was barely anyone left in the ground to muster up any, and for weeks we've gone in to almost every game accepting that we most likely won't win. That's not good enough for this club, or any club who has ambition to improve.

Koeman had to go.
