For all Grayson’s faults, in the run up to a massive game for us there is spin in the media about the sale of the club and possible player sales. Another example of the money first football second culture in our club. Who would want to work under those twats.

I'd take Paolo back in a heartbeat. I'd rather have gone down with him in charge 3 years ago than be in the situation we have ended up in. If only Ellis could see that buying talented players was ultimately correlated to transfer fees. We have absolutely nothing right now, the club is a husk. Di Canio brought 3 or 4 things into play, now we have nothing.

For the record I would also have stuck with Poyet and backed him properly in the market.
 
We might as well stick with Grayson because there is nobody else in the game that is going to come to us except the stupid and gormless, and we need don't need stupid or gormless managers or players at present. Everyone in the game knows that we are not going to spend. Managers have been talking amoungst themselves and know that Short makes promises to managers which later have modified parameters. Nobody is coming to us. We can't attract managers from Scotland. Getting Grayson in was arguably a coup in our state. Who do we want? The only person we might attract is a former player or a current player that is willing to step up. Otherwise there is no one.
