I couldn't speak for everyone else. ;)
That was the gist of it.

Things just go over peoples heads, the same as the two songs below.

I did wonder if it was deliberate, but I didn't get the other 2 references.

I even went as far as googling "Beatles its impossible" but came up blank.

How will I know (Whitney Houston), referring to me not knowing and It's impossible (Perry Como) also referring to the same thing.
I posted the two songs afterwards but no one else had posted so it attached to the first post.

No reference to the Beatles.
Ah well, I'll explain in future posts.

No one got my Jay Z and the Ding Dong woman mistaking him for MC Hammer, 'U Can't touch this'.

probably ‘a forest’ by the cure.first heard a live version of it when i was about 14,became an obsessive nerdy cure fan because of it...got countless live versions of it now too:oops:.

It feels like Happy Birthday the number of assemblies at scciok I have been to recently.

Probably one Of With or Without You (U2), Jigsaw Falling into Pieces (Radiohead) or Maybe Tomorrow (Stereophonics).

Piss off you boring berk
My favourite, that's the lead single off the shite album by the Gluebags isn't it?

I have a sixty song Billie Holiday playlist I put on each Sunday to have in the background for reading the Sunday papers. Been doing that for years and years so it could be any of those, I guess. But this one is the first one on the playlist so I'll just go for that one.

Strange Fruit is a landmark record. Truly amazing.

Your like that all the time from my perspective so I genuinely want to know what your problem is.
I think it might be you.

How can anyone even guess?

'Listening statistics' good god
I bet yours is Kula Shaker and you're ashamed to admit it.

If you’ve had iTunes/equivalent for a long time you can check
Please tell him not to bother.

Forzamilan’s listening statistics

Oasis - 981 plays since last Monday

979 of these were whilst wearing a Parka from Pretty Green
Those other 2 were while it was in the wash at his mams.

Yep,and i've never really been one for repeated listening since my teens, look for new stuff all the time. Some of my early non stop listens i haven't heard for decades.I stick by my theory of stuff you hear down the years non stop,tv,juke boxes, radios, clubs etc
Example,Ku club 2 to 3 times a week every week for about 8 years,so you get some shite Van Morrison tune 3 times a week at least, can't say i listen to songs much more than that i like
Life is too short to listen to even mediocre music. There's too much excellent new and historic music around to be listening to a recording of Liam Gallagher's strangulated hernia of a mental breakdown.
