Stefan Schwarz

The threads calling him to be the next Sunderland manager are some of the most bizzare we've ever had on this forum

Someone actually said give him the job as he speaks 10 languages
That’ll be handy to translate ‘you’re f***ing shite’ to the United Nations of players in their native tongue.

Hardly bizarre. Plenty clubs have went for former players, with a good standing in the game, to be their manager.

But why pluck him out of nowhere? He's an agent, not a coach, and he has got far less coaching experience even than other players in the same team - Ball, Bould, Rae, Phillips, Williams.

Exactly, its literally because he is Swedish

Why not give it to Paul Butler or Chris Makin

Who the fuck hangs coats in their bathroom , shit particles travel 6 foot when you flush.

Scruffy cun t
6 foot?!?!?!?!

 Ffs man

Erm he achieved a lot more in his career than Stefan Schwarz mate

It's mental

He's a Swedish football agent

Who played for Sunderland for 2 years 16 years ago
He has a FIFA pro license and some coaching experience, desperate to make a name for himself in management.

Of course there was a danger he might have asked for £2m to spend in the summer and we can't be tolerating that nonsense.

So desperate he has never had a job as a manager at any level, 15 years after retiring.

 no he isn't

So is Steve Watson, give it to him

Been looking for a head coach role since 2012 which is why he quit as Helsingborg Assistant Manager.

Stefan Schwarz will not continue as an assistant coach in Helsingborg's IF.

This he announces by a press release.

HIF had offered Schwarz an extension, but the former national team player now chooses to go another way.

Want to be a head coach
"I have, after careful consideration, decided not to offer an offer for renewal of my contract with Helsingborg's IF. I want to move on to meet new challenges, which in turn can lead to an assignment as the principal manager of a team" , writes Schwarz in a press release.

The former national team profile Schwarz came to Helsingborg this summer.

He is the fourth coach this year to leave HIF. First, Per-Ola Ljung was fired, then Conny Karlsson left in protest. Åge Hareide made his last match as head coach in the win match against Twente yesterday.

Helsingborg Jesper Jansson was told by Schwartz on his journey home from Holland.

However, he became somewhat disappointed when the press release came because he had not even told the news up in the HIF.

Respects the decision
"I did not know he would send it out, so I got a little upset. But that's no problem.

- It's boring. Stefan is the world's most professional, honest and humble person, so it's just to respect his decision.

He writes that he wants to be a coach in the long run. Did he seek a greater role with you?

- We have never discussed that discussion.

He was Assistant Manager at Helsingborg mate. See post before yours.
So it's hardly a "bizarre" idea like claimed. I also now wouldn't be against a Phillips or Bould type appointment, if/when it comes to it in the near future. It's not like much else has worked, so why not.
