Aye, decent enough like in fairness. Probably just because his performances have been nowhere near what we were expecting.
Anyway, still shouldn't be in the squad ahead of Plunkett. f***ing joke he isn't in the main squad, nevermind the Lions.
Absolute joke if Plunkett isn't in Australia. I say "if" because I retain some faint hope that he may be with the big boys if and when it's announced Stokes must make way.
In my op, minus Stokes, then Plunkett comes in to first XI as best option to give the bowling attack the right balance. Bairstow, Ali, Woakes all move up one and Plunkett can swing a bit at nine too, compared to other options.
I'd of had Burns in before Joe Clarke, who's had plenty of chances for the Lions and done nowt
They obviously expect him to come good eventually
Some of the familiar faces have been left out, Billings, Dawson, Bell-Drummond, Alsop but Clarke survived
He will. His country record has never wavered unlike pretty much every, credible English middle order option, young or old, in the last couple of seasons.
