"After we rotate back to the world, Rafterman we're going to miss not having anybody around worth shooting".

"The duality of man, Sir, the Jungian thing".

Reet. Arguing in the kip with the shortly to be be ex Mrs. Boots who doesn't like war films. I'm trying to explain that she's missing out.
My argument consists of, so far,
Come and See
The thin red line
Verdun
Cross of Iron.
For the love of our Lord Jesus Christ she's not f***ing having it.

Verdun??? There has been made a film made about that??? When was that out?? I`m fascinated by that battle. Went to visit the sites around Verdun for it`s centenary last year.

Band of Brothers
The Pacific
Enemy at the Gates
Hacksaw Ridge
Saving Private Ryan
Bridge too Far

On a separate note, I’m well into Vietnam War documentaries at the minutes. What are decent Vietnam War moves with plenty action? FMJ is a bit pants after the training period.

Platoon
Hamburger Hill
We Were Soldiers
Casualties of War
Tigerland
The Boys in Company C

And if you can get it: The Odd Angry Shot, it's a Vietnam war film from the perspective of some Australian SAS soldiers.
