Simon Grayson - please go now. Cheers.

Managers get themselves sacked, no one else. Give the fans something to cheer about, like a home win in a year or something like that. Grayson has previously said he can't control historical issues he can only affect what goes on from now. Since this horrendous start he's quoted how well he did at Preston (historical stuff), mentioned players lack of confidence due to relegation (historical stuff) and done fuck all to show he has any idea how to control football games at present. He constantly contradicts himself weeks down the line. Lets not forget his comment about driving players who don't want to be here, himself. He drove one straight into a captains armband.

Right smart arse. I've followed safc since 1972. Grayson has had ten games. What gives him the right to say I have crawled out of the woodwork to complain, and I have no right ,as I didn't attend a f***ing awful 5-2 defeat at Ipswich?

I've seen it too many times and he can fuck right off

Goodnight

What do you think will happen up till Christmas?

The squad will slowly get better as the players start to gel and the right system will be found....This will be helped as injured players come back....Hopefully the fans will get behind the players as they do in most away games, if not I guess it will be away results that will carry us through.

This team won't even be close to going down ? You have a lot more optimism than me.

Nah, my knee is injured and is incapable of jerking ;)

I said they were part of the problem, do you think it is a coincidence that our home record has been so bad for the last few years? Our players both new and old are terrified of playing at home, is that because its not a nice ground or something, its the fans and if you cant see that you need help.

As for insults you might want to look through the posts, I think you were chucking them out first were you not or is "patronising little cock" not an insult.

You are like one of those people who go to marriage guidance counselling and will not accept that actually that there is fault on all sides....Till you do you will not solve the problems but you are so pig headed you would rather get divorced.

Again, patronising as hell.

No, we have not been utterly shit over the last 5-6 seasons because of the fans

You don't go to the games. Clearly

Another one spitting their dummy as while they want to blame every other fucker like hell will they look at themselves....I wonder why our home form is always worse than our away? Hmmmmm
Because the players don't score enough goals and don't defend in a manner to stop conceding?

I look at myself, who has followed safc, home and away since 1972.

I think that allows me to pass comment to what I am witnessing?

Now, answer me these questions.

1 why does rodwell get selected by Grayson?

2 why did Grayson think giving kone the captain's job, was a good idea, given his dissent for the last 12 months?

3 why start cattermole, when he is incapable of finishing a game?

Oh no, we cant possibly be critical of the fans, despite the fact that them turning on players, particularly at home has for many years been part of the problem...Players are shit scared of playing at the SOL as the boo boys turn on them at the first sign of a mistake......Its gone on for years.......Our fans can be the 12th man, they never shut up against the scum and never turn on the players, ironically we generally have good results against them....On the flip side when things are not going well you can see the players freeze as the groans from the stands meet every missed pass...

While fans can slag off the players as much as they want, they have their own role to play and to spout the bollox that "we pay are money so its ok to boo"......Well you are actually right but if that is what you choose to do then like fuck should you complain when those players are shit scared of playing at home and we struggle even more.

When a club is struggling like we are then EVERYBODY in the club needs to look at how they can improve things and where they might be playing a part in the struggle......Sadly fans seem to like to blame everybody else but if you suggest for one nano second they are part of the problem then all hell is unleashed.

Sorry like and I will get pelters for this but our fans are part of the problem, something that is a choice cause on their day they can be the difference between winning and losing.
Tbf that post is a game changer and you raise some fair points - I’m one of those who Grayson thinks is entitled to complain (cheers Si) and while I haven’t got a bee in my bonnet as some seem to have I still think he was misguided even though you’ve put a case as to the reasoning.

It makes little difference to me as I plan on seeing all the games anyway. It does annoy me though if we find ourselves looking for another boss who wouldn’t have wanted any of our recent recruits. It smacks to me of being left with little option other than recruiting from within. Our financial plight will dictate this.

Sad, sad times in many ways.

Do you read the sun or the star ?

He does realise that nearly every game has been viewable this season. Even just watching the highlights on the safc website shows that we’ve been well beaten in some games and I’m assuming that those highlights are edited to make us look good!
Poor grammar mate... you should have said 'highlights'

Edit: my emboldened ' doesn't display well... in fact you should have just said 'shortened version of the match'

I do and at times we are shit but you know what, when the groans and slagging off from the stands starts (normally about 10 to 15 mins) we get a whole lot worse.....Look how many times this year reports at home say

"Sunderland started brightly but couldnt capitalise"......Aye, cause thats about the time they start getting abuse.

Dont care what job you are in or how much you are paid, if you are being abused by those watching your performance then you will struggle to perform at your best.

Knee jerking? Find me a club with a worse record than ours over the past 5-6 seasons. I've asked you 4 times now.

The fans are not the problem

And another patronising cock

So why are you abusing the players who have been here 2 months....Thick as bulls lugs man, you are slagging off people that have just arrived because we have been shit for 5 years before they arrived....How on earth does that make any sense whatsoever in your head?

If you got divorced then remarried would you start giving your new wife shit cause your x wife was a c unt? Actually dont answer that, I think I already know the answer.

I want nothing more than safc winning. I'm sick of drivel about Leeds and Preston fans loving him.

We all know about short, debt, selling players, loaning others and all the other insults over the last ten years.

I look at the now, what is happening on the pitch. We are second bottom and but for a penalty, would have lost five out five at home.

Am I to expectant or demanding in hoping that should not be happening?

Would it be over expectation to see safc score first, once at home so far?

You're mental

Mate, X players and managers have said it time and time again, how many times do you need telling? Do you not think for one second that this could be part of the problem? If it is then why on earth would you not try to do something a big different? Do you honestly believe that booing and abusing players helps? Are you seriously trying to argue that?

It is sad times mate, unfortunately there's fook all we can do.
We rode our luck in the prem and threw money at shìte and now we are paying the price.
A fookin manager in Scotchland didn't want to touch us so what the fook does that say ???
If we go down again I'm still a Sunderland supporter and I'm not blaming grayson.
Some players need fookin off or take a long hard look at themselves.

I see you won't answer those questions AGAIN.

You like examples but know the answers already.

Haway be genuine.

Just one thing that Grayson has done right so far?

Sorry?

Where the fuck have I ever said I 'abuse the players' nevermind our new players? Look at my posts over the past years  You'll even find recent posts of mine defending Grayson

I have an issue with you saying our fans are the problem.

Can you find me a few clubs with a worse record over the past 5-6 seasons? The fact I've asked 5 or 6 times means Iran not an easy feat.

Oh, I forgot you won't be able to. That's because they don't have nasty Sunderland fans abusing them.

For the record, you're one of the strangest people I've 'debated' with on here and I've been posting for over 15 years. Mental

So players who are paid thousands can't stand a bit of abuse? Again that speaks more of their fragile personality than it does the fans. I thought Grayson and Bain were getting people with the right mentality but apparently they've bought more bottlers and shirkers. That's cleared that up then

That's the second person who has said that.

1. Because at the time there were limited options, he watches him in training and he is trying to find a solution to the problems

2. Im sure he hoped that giving him this responsibility would show how valued he is and get him to step up to the mark and show he is a leader. Im not sure why that would be an issue, definitely worth a go.

3. Because we have been significantly better with him in the side since he arrived at the club...Definitely like marmite as a player but little doubt we do better when he is there than when he is injured.
