As I said in response to one of the OP's optimistic posts on the match thread, we played 5 defenders and 2 defensive mids and still conceded 5.

So saying that we were okay bar the defense is like saying the 11 players were okay bar 8 of them (when you include the keeper). That seems closer to right, but it's hardly a reason for optimism.

He's right in a way we can attack with mcgeady and mcmanaman who always look dangerous, but we don't have a decent striker and the defence is shit

No. The defence is badly organised and ill-disciplined. There is a difference.

I would imagine that most didn't watch the game.
We have to pull a positive from somewhere and there is little wrong with the forward pay.
If we sack another manager now I honestly believe it will get worse.

Not sure if we should sack him or not, but he should be doing a lot better than he is with the current squad
