Been another long season, not got much enthusiasm for this one in all honesty. However come the second week of October I'll be longing for the return of county cricket .

If he is off then he should not play if he is staying play him. Although I can't see him making the Ashes squad so leaving him out is perhaps not that important.

Who would you open with?

Not saying I disagree, but for me Jennings plays simply out of necessity. His form doesn't warrant a place in the side but with the cupboard so bare - we may have to play him.

Heartening to hear the kind words on BBC 5Live SX, Somerset v Middlesex is the game but both lads saying they feel for us. Furthermore they want Hampshite to go down because it'll be 'poetic justice'.
