Odd but, I was interested in cricket from being a youngster, had a 2nd cousin playing at a good level, and as a young youngster used to go to the playground overlooking Eppleton and yet never ever thought to get involved myself. Don't know why. :oops: Wishing I had now.

Was that the Welfare ground ?
 
Wearmouth from around 1976-79

Had a break and played for Hospitals and then Belford House from around 82-89

Even longer break and then played for Hylton 98-03

*Dates are approximate as my memory's like a sieve these days :lol:
