A lot of successful people develop that, you must love me syndrome and court your attention ,he doesn't
 
individual event athletes born overseas but who represent england/GB seem to attract a less broad support (and more flack) than those who participate in a team sport, im sure that the "team gb" marketing strategy wasnt just something to fill a space on tshirts, they wanted to create a similar support to footy/cricket/rugby.

i anticipate that i will get flamed here but in the same way i would provide disproportionately strong support to an athlete that was from sunderland, im going to support a little less one who lived in somalia until he was 8.
 
Which Murray? Andy Murray the current World No 1? That one?

I've nothing but huge admiration for Murray, he's a phenomenal sportsman and role model. Whilst I respect your opinion, he's not now, has been or will be the player Federer is.
