Grannie Annies

Upstairs won't be ready by weekend I'm told neither will the kitchen but downstairs bar wil be ready for the air show scum to decend upon it.

Cant see it doing much trade. No car park for passing trade.....no locals of note and music venue? Meh.

Think itll struggle with a huge investment. But if theyve picked the turds up good luck to them.
There's an ample car park close by down there.

I'll definitely pop in for a couple of refreshments when it's all sorted like. I just hope they can keep enough trade to see them through the winter months.

It's putting people off. Many traders are saying night trade has died with charges being on till 10 when seaburn is only 6pm.
That's a good point re. Charges until 10
They should get onto their counciller and complain and they are being treated unfairly or like half of Sunderland get yourself a blue badge
Why does that little bit of car park require so many disabled spaces
Most of the cars are empty when I pass so if you are fit enough to walk along sea front you don't need a blue badge

he opened Beggars Bridge in same fashion, probably best to get staff used to serving drink before adding food to the mix.
Standard of food and service got a bit stick initially at BB but after a few changes seems to be ok now

So there and back.....paying 3.00 in the car park.
White elephant....money pit, call it what you want. Time will show. Glad its not my money.

You seriously have a bee in your bonnet mate. Just try not to look beyond your own environment and be happy with it and your place within it. I'm not having a dig but you seem to have an agenda.

Always the best policy IMHO. It's like having two opening nights publicity wise.
Been to loads of dry run neets for Cafe Rouges, Pizza Express etc in my bar fitting days and they're pretty frantic tbh and they have a template/system in place for staff. Attempting a food and drink opening neet with a unique place must be hell on earth.

Grannie Annie's is a fuckin awful name. Provincial as owt. City of culture my arse.
