Summing it up in a few lines....

Logan's healing factor is no longer able to heal him as well as it used to, due to his age (I think at this point he is about 200 years old) also the adamantium in his bones is slowly posioning him due to his healing factor not functioning properly.

Thought it was very over rated. I understood that Logan and Xavier were old and dying without it being thrown in my face every two minutes.

Integral characters turned up and died just as quickly. Kids thrown in for emotions.
