See thats the problem, Vaughan Galloway and Browning came out of nowhere, no hint of ITKs knowing either. So we could unveil a major signing next week nobodys even aware of.

I'd like to think team selection was a meritocracy based on performance in training and in matches, with nobody as "first choice" or "backup" but a squad of players competing for places.

Aye, fair enough. It's a shame Spennymoor brought that Jake Orrell lad in from Hartlepool the other, could have done a job.

I'd expect strikers who could help us try and compete at the top end of the league we are in, whether that be loan signings or what I don't care. We'll see what happens, but if this is the sort of calibre of player we are bringing in, I'd be honestly be pretty concerned trying to finish as high as 17th let alone attempt a playoff challenge.

It's certainly a split reaction on this thread.
